Under low load condition the exhaust gas produced does not have enough pressure to operate the rotocap turning the exhaust valve by one turn. A rotocap may stop to work in between 18 to 25% of the load condition. On another hand a turnomat can operate as low as 5-10% of load; thanks to its unique design that helps it develop enough force to turn the valve.
